A week ago, Adel christened my Parisian nightlife experience by bringing me to a private algerian bar down the street - special features include: darts, talkative middle aged alcoholics and a jukebox loaded with algerian pop hits, and one ray charles song.

rebecca gave me the fantastic idea of creating a blog to document/remember/share the details of my stay. so here goes.

and i figure i'm almost a month in here..there's no way i can catch up on details - i've had nothing to do but explore for hours every day: walk in a different direction, hope on the metro and get off at random stops etc.

so i'll just start from where i'm at...share some explorations...the important things...and maybe generally outline memorable spots/restaurants/bars/shops/museums/vibes/whatever i've discovered in the different districts i've walked through.
